When we re-opened Heritage House as a bed & breakfast back in 2020 the biggest challenge was finding period-appropriate furniture, fixtures, art, and decor to adorn the building. Unlike a traditional hotel, most of this can’t be bought new. We spent our first six months in Opelika traveling near and far in search of all the great finds you see in the mansion today.
