Our Rooms & Suites
All five of our tastefully appointed guest rooms feature a private bathroom, king size bed with luxurious Stearns & Foster mattress, a 55″ Smart TV, an adjustable speed ceiling fan, dimmable overhead lighting, and everything else you need to feel like you’re at your home away from home.
Our transportation-themed suite is the only guest room on the first floor and includes both a private entrance and an adjoining study. This is also our only pet friendly room.

Our standard rates include a homemade breakfast served each morning between 8am and 10am. For those guests who cannot or do not wish to have breakfast we offer a discounted rate.
Our breakfast style is about having a hearty balance. A little bit healthy, with fresh fruit and yogurt at the start, and a bit of homestyle extravagance with entrees like biscuits & gravy, French toast, and shrimp & grits. We have a rotating breakfast menu so every day brings something new.
While staying with us, you will have a couple options for breakfast each morning. Breakfast is served in the dining room where cafe style tables have been spaced thoughtfully apart from each other. We’ll serve your breakfast at the requested time between 8 am to 10 am along with a carafe of fresh coffee or a pot of tea.
As a small operation we are able to adapt our breakfast to satisfy most dietary restrictions guests may have, whether that be a special diet, allergies, vegetarianism, etc. Just let us know ahead of time so we can be sure to prepare for your stay.

Payment & Policies
For reservations made directly with us, either on our website or by phone, a $25 per room deposit is required at the time of reservation and is charged to the credit card you provide. For special event rates the deposit is $125 per room. Some rates may require different deposit amounts, which will be specified at time of booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of check-in and will be charged to the card on file unless other payment arrangements have been made. If your reservation is being made within 7 days of the check-in date then full payment is required at the time of reservation, including any taxes and fees.
Reservations made via third-party websites are subject to different deposit and cancellation policies. We strongly recommend always making reservations directly with us for the best rates and most flexibility. Contact us if you have any questions or ever find a lower rate elsewhere.
Only two guests per room. Our Carriage Suite can fit up to four guests if prior arrangements are made. There is an additional fee for setting up the extra bed.
Check-In & Check-Out
We are open for check-in between the hours of 3pm and 7pm on the day of your arrival. We are a small operation and do not generally have someone sitting at the front desk, so please let us know if you are going to be arriving at a different time than what you specified when you made your reservation. Check-out is 12pm on the day of your departure. If your travel plans necessitate different arrival or departure times please contact us to discuss. We will make every effort to fulfill reasonable requests and can always provide self check-in instructions for guest.
If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, cancellation notice is required 7 days in advance of your arrival date. Your nonrefundable deposit will be kept as a cancellation fee. For full house rentals and special event rates cancellation notice is required 28 days in advance of your arrival.
If you cancel your reservation 7 days or less prior to arrival date (28 days for full house rentals and special event rates), you are responsible for the entire cost of your reservation. Your credit card on file will be charged in full, unless the room(s) rebook. If rooms do rebook, you will be refunded the difference, minus the cancellation fee.
The cancellation fee also applies to changes in your arrival/departure date which result in a shorter stay. No refunds are provided for late arrivals or early departures.
If, for any reason, Heritage House is unable to fulfill your reservation, you will be issued a full refund. This would include situations where a government order requires us to temporarily close.
To ensure a pleasant experience for all our guests, we have established quiet hours between 10pm and 7am daily. During these times we ask that you be mindful of both your personal and electronic device volume.
There is a strict no-smoking policy within this building. This includes vaping. We also ask that guests do not smoke or vape on the veranda (exterior patio), balcony (accessible to guests who book Seaside or Clubhouse rooms), and back porch because of the proximity to entrances. Feel free to smoke outside on the grounds, although we ask that you fully extinguish and dispose of your smoking refuse into exterior receptacles.
This property includes a lot of antiques and other sensitive furniture so we only allow guests aged 13 and older. Frankly, it won’t be that fun for kids here anyway as it is really more of an adult space. However, we make exceptions for full house rentals. Contact us if you have any questions.
