Auburn Tiger Transit Gameday Shuttle

Tiger Transit Game Day Shuttle: Tiger Town to Jordan-Hare Stadium

Note: this information is accurate as of 11/6/2026 for 2026 season home games. We will update for future seasons.

Game day in Auburn is one of college football’s great traditions. Parking is the part nobody loves. With around 88,000 fans heading to a small college town, the lots fill early and the traffic crawls.

There’s an easier way. The free Tiger Transit game day shuttle picks up fans at Tiger Town in Opelika and drops them near Jordan-Hare Stadium, right in the middle of the pregame action. Here’s how it works, and how it can help make a stress-free Auburn football weekend!

What Is the Tiger Transit Game Day Shuttle?

On Auburn home football Saturdays, Tiger Transit runs special game day routes. They’re open to all fans and free to ride. You don’t need an Auburn ID or a ticket to board. Regular weekday routes don’t operate on game days, so the special game day routes are the ones to use.

Where Does the Shuttle Pick Up and Drop Off?

Tiger Town, the shopping district off I-85 in Opelika, is one of the off-campus pickup locations. Other stops have included the Auburn Mall and the City Softball Complex. Stops can change from game to game, so check the current route before you go.

Buses drop fans off at War Eagle Way, in the middle of the tailgating scene and a short walk from Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Game Day Shuttle Hours

  • Before the game: Buses typically start running about four hours before kickoff. For an 11 a.m. game, that means an 8 a.m. start.
  • During the game: Service is limited.
  • After the game: Buses keep returning fans to their stops for about two hours after the final whistle.

Hours can vary slightly by game, so confirm them on Auburn’s official Tiger Transit page before you head out.

Pro Tips for Riding the Shuttle

  1. Track your bus live. Download the ETA Spot app for  Apple or Android devices or view the map on the desktop version to see where your shuttle is instead of guessing.
  2. Go early. Most fans arrive on campus 90 minutes to two hours before kickoff, and earlier to tailgate or catch the Tiger Walk.
  3. Pack light. Jordan-Hare has a clear bag policy, and buses only allow as many bags as you can comfortably carry.
  4. Plan your ride home. Post-game lines can be long. Let the crowds thin out and enjoy the atmosphere.
  5. Skip the tow-away risk. Illegally parked cars near campus get towed on game weekends. Leaving the car in Tiger Town avoids the problem.
